Dr. Pauline Habib is a dual-trained Rheumatologist and General Physician who is passionate about treating patients with inflammatory and autoimmune conditions with special interests in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren's disease, gout, inflammatory myositis and vasculitis. She understands the impact these conditions can have on patients' overall health and quality of life, and in partnership with patients through education and empowerment, prides herself on providing the best holistic care possible. She enjoys collaborating with and learning from her non-Rheumatology colleagues when managing mutual patients.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Medical Science at the University of Sydney and postgraduate degree in Medicine at the Australian National University. She trained in both NSW and WA, across metropolitan and regional regions, which has given her a breadth of Rheumatology experience across different settings. She is enthusiastic about medical education, having been a clinical tutor with the University of Sydney and UNSW for 10 years and counting.She highly values and recognises the importance of keeping up to date with the latest medical evidence to ensure her patients receive excellent care by attending yearly national and international conferences.
Pauline values a work-life balance and maintains a very active lifestyle that helps her balance her love of food here and on her travels. She speaks English and French and tries to pick up more on her travels.
